Action Against... Biodiversity Loss

Encouraging and supporting Environmental Education in Schools

Free Teaching Resources

We have a Free Guide to help schools improve the biodiversity of their grounds written by Eco expert / primary teacher, Edd Moore.

Click on this link or the image (left).

Please note: the use of these resources is optional – you can use your own, or any other resources you may find or have, to complete the Action Against Biodiversity Loss Award. The main thing is that schools go through the journey of: raising awareness of the climate crisis, audit their schools’ climate impact, then take action to mitigate some of that impact.

For schools to receive the Award’s digital certificate and ‘sticker’, they need to submit the photo evidence of their journey using the ‘Submit your evidence‘ link.

Use the teaching resources below to help you complete the Action Against Biodiversity Loss Award

Schools are to create their own audit and action plan, but Edd Moore’s guide is a great place to start.

Schools are free to demonstrate their impact however they wish to, but again, Edd Moore’s guide has a built in Action Plan to help guide schools.

Ready to submit your evidence?

When you’ve completed all three steps, complete the form to submit your evidence. It will only take about five minutes. On receipt of your form we will celebrate your action and send you a digital certificate and sticker (for your school website or personal CV).
