2 Million Litter Pick

A campaign to pick up 2 million pieces of litter

What is the '2 Million Litter Pick' campaign?

Ali’s 2 Million Litter Pick is a campaign to get young people, families, schools and communities picking up and logging litter from the places around them.

The campaign began with a big goal: to help remove and record 1 million pieces of litter. That milestone showed what small actions can add up to.

Now the campaign continues with an even bigger target: 2 million pieces of litter picked up and logged.

Every piece counted helps show the difference people can make when they take practical action for cleaner, safer and healthier places.

Hi, my name is Ali!

I live in Spain and I’m Kids Against Plastic’s Chief Pickup Officer.

I’m a keen litter picker and regularly pick up litter on my walk to school, helping to stop it being left in streets, parks and local places.

I also organise clean-ups, encourage friends and community members to get involved, and help show that simple action can make a real difference.

I even invented my own litter-picking technique: the ninja pick!
