KAP Development Team - Who's who?

Bayli

KAP Club Development Team

I’m 18 years old and from Australia.

Although I’m not a kid anymore, I was when I joined KAP in 2021.

As a part of KAP, I make games and presentations to educate kids about different environmental issues. I also love making art, as I think it is such an important tool for self expression and connecting with audiences.

My particular interests are global warming, biodiversity conservation, over-consumption, advocating for vulnerable populations and plastic pollution. I think the issues facing our environment are a big deal, but not enough people are acting like it. I hope to use art and writing to educate both kids and adults about the climate crisis, bringing more action and accountability.

Another goal I have is to bring KAP to Australia! I have started writing articles for KAP, so check them out if you can!

I also have articles and artworks about a range of different topics on my blog https://bayliruby.wordpress.com/

Abbie

KAP Club Development Team

I have been a KAP member since 2020, and I am very passionate about the environment, particularly wildlife. I love all animals, particularly native Australian wildlife (mainly echidnas!!). Seeing the negative impacts pollution and climate change were having on animals inspired my passion to protect the environment.

Inaaya

KAP Club Co-ordinator

I am 14 years old and the Deputy Member of Youth Parliament for Redbridge, Chief Voice Officer for Kids Against Plastic, a Radio Presenter on 24 Hours Radio and a passionate environmentalist. My aim is to spread awareness about our deteriorating planet to the youth by giving them knowledge and helping them to take action before it is too late. I am also a big advocate for amplifying the voices of the youth in issues that face them or things they are concerned about.

Hayden

KAP Club Development Team

I am from England and have been a KAP member for ages. I have a passion for protecting the planet and fighting plastic pollution. I attend as many KAP events as I can and like to give leaflets out and encourage others to learn about KAP and the environment.

Lucie

KAP Club Co-ordinator

I am 15 years old. I am an activist for the empowerment of young people's voices and the awareness of climate change. I am a part of the British Youth Council, where I advocate for young people across my borough. I also run a few different climate groups and social media platforms to spread awareness of climate change as well as find solutions. I am my schools climate ambassador and am currently campaigning to implement the search engine ,Ecosia (a tree planting platform) into schools. My aim as a climate activist is to empower the voices of young people to make effective change to our world.
