Follow the Plastic

Where does supermarket soft plastic packaging really go?

Soft plastic recycling should not be a black box.

Step 3 - Share

Help more people see what KAP is finding.

The third step is simple: help amplify KAP’s findings.

As the live tracker updates come in, KAP will share posts, questions and key findings. You can support the campaign by sharing those updates with others.

This helps more people understand the issue and ask why soft plastic recycling is still so unclear.

Follow the tracker. Share the updates. Help ask for clearer answers.

What about #PACKETin?

For now, #PACKETin is how KAP will share the questions raised by the tracker campaign.

KAP will use it when we send clean packaging examples and tracker summary cards to supermarkets.

If the campaign grows, we may invite wider public action later. For now, the best way to help is to follow, share and ask fair questions.

About this step

Share KAP's updates

KAP will post updates from the live tracker campaign.

  • tracker launch posts
  • journey updates
  • last-seen locations
  • questions raised by each tracker
  • responses from brands, supermarkets or waste companies
  • #PACKETin campaign posts

The easiest way to take part is to share KAP’s updates and help more people see the question:

Where does supermarket soft plastic packaging really go?

Responsible sharing

  • Share KAP posts and updates accurately.
  • Ask questions, do not make personal accusations.
  • Do not target shop staff.
  • Do not claim more than the tracker shows.
  • Be polite if tagging a brand, supermarket or waste company.
  • Young people should involve an adult before contacting companies or posting publicly.

This campaign is about asking for answers, not accusing people.

Keep following

The live tracker will update as each item moves, stops or raises a new question.
