Encouraging and supporting Environmental Education in Schools
There are just two actions to complete Step 1 Inspire:
Action 1: Put together a Climate Action Team of pupils. This could be your Eco Team a lunchtime or afterschool club… it really doesn’t matter, as long as you have a group of pupils identified to take the lead on action against climate change.
Take a photograph of your group and keep it safe – you will need to attach this to the submission form when you send in your evidence .
Action 2:
Get your Eco Team to deliver an assembly that raises awareness of biodiversity loss and the need to expand the biodiversity of the school grounds. This could be a class or whole school assembly. It could be an assembly that has parents of visitors present – the bigger the audience, the greater the awareness spread!
Use our FREE supporting resources to help you get started and successfully complete your Action Against Biodiversity Loss journey.
