Encouraging and supporting Climate Action in Schools
Again, there are just two actions to complete Step 2 Investigate:
Action 1: Complete some kind of school audit that gives you an idea of where your school can make changes that reduce it’s climate impact. It could be reducing food waste, saving energy, reducing single-use plastic, using less paper… anything that has a positive impact.
Take a photograph of your audit results or have a file ready to submit with the rest of your evidence.
Action 2:
Once you have completed your audit, identify three different things you are going to take action against, e.g. food waste, energy and paper. Then, put together some idea (a plan) for what you are going to do i.e. the action you are going to take.
Take a photo of your plan or have the evidence file ready for submission when you’ve completed all of the Steps (Inspire, Investigate and Act).
Once you have completed both actions, move onto Step 3: Act.
