Action Against... Plastic Gum

A KAP campaign helping schools, young people and members investigate plastic-based gum and take action.

LEARN

There are just two actions to complete Step 1 Learn:

Action 1:
Put together a Climate Action Team of pupils. This could be your Eco Team a lunchtime or afterschool club… it really doesn’t matter, as long as you have a group of pupils identified to take the lead on action against climate change.

Take a photograph of your group and keep it safe – you will need to attach this to the submission form when you send in your evidence .

Action 2:

Get your Eco Team to deliver an assembly that raises awareness of the plastic gum problem. This could be a class  or whole school assembly. It could be an assembly that has parents of visitors present – the bigger the audience, the greater the awareness spread!

Take a photo for your award evidence.

Once you have completed both actions, move onto Step 2: Investigate.
